As it turns out, I was right, and Aragon weave ~can~ be expanded outward into a sheet. I really love the way it looks in this form, even more than the strand version.
if I start blushing and you yell “awww you’re embarrassed!!!!!” I will never speak to you ever again
…yeah, do this to me and you’ll get to watch how fast I go from blushing and embarrassed, to cold and vicious. I mean, really, how do you look at someone who’s having some kind of shyness or embarrassment reaction to something and think to yourself, “Yes clearly the best way I can help them feel at ease is by drawing even more attention to them!”?
This happened to me the other day at work. The customer would. Not. Shut. Up. I think I just stared at her.
Of course today a customer asked me if I was going bald, and if I was taking medication for my obvious hair loss. Customers have no fucking boundaries.
They really don’t. And of course you can’t slap the smug off their stupid faces because then you’d get fired. So unfair.
You know, if I could’ve handpicked the best 5-item “me profile” I wanted people to see, that would basically be it. Clearly I’m doing something right.
A Republican state lawmaker in Kansas says that he opposes cutting the taxes on groceries because it would be a form of “social engineering” that encourages people to buy food over other items.
The Kansas state Senate on Thursday voted to cut the state sales tax on food from 6.3 percent to 4.95 percent, but Sen. Jeff Melcher (R) led opposition against the measure, arguing that it would lead to people eating more.
“It seems to me we are encouraging the behavior of purchasing food and discouraging the behavior of purchasing anything else,” Melcher reportedly told his colleagues.
The lawmaker pointed out that the state already had programs to help get food to poor people, and that creating two different tax rates would be additional “complexity” for retailers.
“It seems to me it provides a complexity in the tax code that the retailers will have to deal with,” he explained, according to The Wichita Eagle.
The Senate plan sets up a showdown with the Kansas House, which has proposed that state sales taxes be set at a rate of 6 percent. By law, sales taxes were scheduled to drop to 5.7 percent in July, but Gov. Sam Brownback (R) has called to keep the current rate of 6.3 percent to make up for last year’s income tax cuts. Brownback is also asking the Legislature for additional income tax cuts this year.
Under the Senate plan, the top tax rate would be cut from 4.9 percent to 3.5 percent. The bottom rate would also be cut from 3 percent to 2.5 percent.
He does realize food is a necessity, right?!
What the fuck? What the ACTUAL fuck?
Kansas is seriously fucking INSANE.
So…people buying the basic fuel that keeps their bodies functioning and like, y’know, keeps them from fucking dying…this is a thing that should not be encouraged.

This is my cat Butterball, whom I’ve had since he was born. (I helped deliver him.) He’s a very good cat, and very important to me. However, I am going to be homeless starting on the 29th of May— I won’t have any way to support him or a place to keep him.
I love him very much, and I don’t want to take him to an animal shelter— I’d much rather see him go directly to a loving home, so I’m hoping that someone in the area can take him in. (In the future, if it’s possible, I’d really like to get him back, but as long as he’s with a loving family…)
He is an orange and white adult (older, but not elder) male cat who has been neutered. He’s very smart, and knows several words, including ‘no,’ ‘food,’ ‘snicker snacks (treats)’ ‘outside,’ and ‘lay down’. He’s litterbox trained but prefers the outside. He’s usually too lazy to hunt, but he loves to cuddle with people and is a very affectionate cat. He also loves people food, and is a terrible begger— and be careful if you have roast beef around him, he’ll go straight for it!
His health is good, but he sneezes a lot and sometimes likes wet cat food when he can get it because he is missing some teeth. (This is not a requirement, but he’ll love you for it!)
He’s a very lovely cat, and he deserves to find a loving home. Please, if you’re in the area and can possibly adopt him, please send me an ask and I’ll give you contact details to reach me. If you can’t, I humbly ask that you reblog this— I trust tumblr to help me find someone loving for him.
Signal boost, y’all.
oh my god
hahahahaha im laughing at his fans hahahah look at your master
Richard Dawkins is such a whiny, self-righteous, entitled man-child. That’s probably why capital-A Atheism loves him so much.
