Depressed but not surprised. The same trans-misogynistic garbage is happening at PantheaCon again. Z and the Amazon Priestess Tribe both crapping on trans women. We will not be hurt as much by the hate of our enemies as the silence of our friends.

In the con program the Amazon Priestess Tribe has a ritual for “Skyclad Women Only” (read: women who have socially-normative genitals), and Z Budapest is giving a “Sacred Body of Women” ritual (and guess which women AREN’T “sacred” to her).

…is it just me, or is “skyclad women only” a really goddamn weird way to specify the genitals required to enter the space?  Because unless “skyclad” has other meanings or nuances of meaning I’ve never encountered, it just means the state of being ritually nude.  Which does not, in and of itself, require any particular kind of genitals.  Is a trans woman not considered skyclad if she’s naked in a ritual space alongside cis women who are also in said state?  Is “skyclad” going to become the new “women-born-women” or something?  I’m trying to make this make sense here and it just…won’t.  Like, even less sense than transmisogyny can usually be made to make.  o.0
