Young people, please register to vote. Even if you are more of the conservative/republican whatever type. Right now most voters are older and, frankly, they don’t seem all that concerned with the future. And it’s our future. Check out Rock The Vote. They’ll help you out. And if you don’t vote, don’t you dare complain about politics. For American followers. It’s the same here in the UK though I am sure. If more young people voted we’d have a huge impact and it is OUR future. Not our parents and grandparents. I need to put myself back on the voting register thing. I forgot to put myself back on when I moved. The bit about teabaggers, though…assumes that if we all registered to vote we’d vote Dem.  Which, um.  No.  Also, don’t fucking vote-shame people.  In some places, your options are far-right-fundamentalist or Blue Dog conserva-dem who’s just as antichoice and pro-corporation as their opponent.  So then who do you vote for?  If someone has such shitty options that they feel their only option is to NOT vote, that does not take away their right to have opinions and talk about politics.  Don’t you DARE try to take that right away, just because they couldn’t force themselves to hold their nose and vote for the lesser of two evils.
